Mi Fit App get Big Update 4.0 with New Look
The Mi Fit app is the official app for Xiaomi and Huami‘s (Amazfit) activity trackers and smartwatches. It also works with a bunch of other smart fitness products made by Xiaomi and its partner companies such as the Mi Smart Scales and smart shoes made by 90, Li-Ning, Kangnai, and Sprandi. The app was updated on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, and the update brings a new User Interface and some new features.
The new update gives the app a “Xiaomi – Orange” color. An important detail such as your sleep activity, heart rate, and weight are now summarized in a centralized box instead of separately. Selecting any one of them will open a more detailed breakdown of the parameter. The change log for the app on the Play Store says the data view has been optimized and the app now supports more types of workouts. However, there are already some reviews faulting the new user interface and the multiple “clicks” required to get to certain details which used to be at the forefront of the old app. Few people mentioned by comment in many websites they don’t like the new UI, but honestly I feel it’s slightly better than the old one. The kinda closer to the same UI of the Honor Band 4 from Huawei.
