MIUI 11 OS adds new desktop drawer mode

There were reports that Xiaomi is preparing Focus mode, Vientiane screen custom image & Class schedule features for MIUI 11. However, these new features are still in the internal testing stage. Now, according to the latest report from MIUI official Weibo handle, MIUI 11 added a new drawer mode to the system desktop this week.

Users need to go to the app store to update the system desktop first, and then choose to use classic mode or drawer mode. You can find the drawer mode in Settings > Desktop > Desktop mode. This feature has been added in the previous beta version.

For the moment if you need a drawer, you can use other launcher like Pocophone, it works pretty fine.
