Xiaomi Air Purifier Max gets an Enhanced version with noise as low as33.5dB

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi launched the MIJIA Air Purifier Max in December 2017. The purifier comes with a giant size, bigger than all what the company had launched in the past. The product also brought a higher purification efficiency than previous models and had a CADR value of up to 1000m3/h meaning it is capable of releasing 1000m3 of clean air per hour. Xiami has now released an enhanced version of the Purifier Max with a slightly higher 2,199 yuan ($313) price tag. The 2017 model had a retail price of 1999 yuan ($284).  Ironically, the “enhanced” version has a slightly reduced CADR value of around 700m3/h which may be as a result of efforts to reduce the working noise level.  The device has a formaldehyde CADR of up to 400m3/h and is capable of removing 99.97% of allergens such as bacteria and pollen. The ability to eliminate odours is also very powerful, with TVOC CADR values as high as 330m3/h. In terms of design, the MIJIA Air Purifier Max Enhanced version retains the OLED screen design which is integrated with the mode switching button and the brightness adjustment button. It is equipped with a high-precision laser particle sensor, which allows the screen to display the indoor air PM2.5 value in real-time and accurately. such that with just a glance, users can see the air quality without going to check the phone app. Furthermore, the MIJIA Air Purifier Max comes with an upgraded H13 high-efficiency HEPA filter material which can filter 99.77% of 0.3um particles. It also has double activated carbon filter layers which can strongly adsorb harmful gases such as formaldehyde and toluene. Most importantly, it features advanced silent noise reduction technology with noise as low as 33.5dB(A) in sleep mode. Rapid industrialization has made it such that the air quality is usually a cause for concern in major cities around the world. To ensure the air within our living enclave is pure, the Air Purifier was developed.
